The latest run of BATMAN by James Tynion IV has proven to be as in demand as toilet paper!
With so many hot comics – how does one secure a copy? It’s really easy 🙂

We regularly inform customers of the final order cut off dates AND these are listed on each products page over at our website. Final order cut-off dates and initial order dates are there to let you know when you need to order by – so as to secure yourself a copy.
In-store availability after those dates is limited, if they are available at all. After all, First prints sell out quick and publishers print less copies than ever.

Yeah, at Chaos Pop we get a lot of stock for our shelves, but it’s highly unlikely we are gonna be able to help you with 20 copies of variant you didn’t order by final order cut off.
Toilet paper is a little easier to come by.

If you’re speculating, a big part of that game is spotting the hot items BEFORE they are hot. We do our best to let you know what we think those are going to be – and I’m always happy to make suggestions. Previews mag drops all the hints in the world and we know what is selling or ramping up in interest. Talk to us. And don’t be afraid to take a risk. See the picture below to see the one we are taking 🙂

An even better way of getting the issues you are after is by subscribing / adding the series to your pull list. We love helping you find the issue you are after – but please, help us help you.

Subscriptions and pre-orders keep comic shops alive. All over the country, you’ll find local comic book stores spending many thousands of dollars a week in shipping just to get comics for their release dates (or close to it). Each one of them doing their best to explain all of the above. Very few shops would be open today if it wasn’t for their subscriber base.

We are speculator friendly here – but we aren’t miracle workers. What we care about most is a good story, some great art – and getting good books in the hands of anyone that might want one.

I upload the entire previews catalog each month and the availability of 14,000 items can be difficult to manage for one person.  With trade paperbacks and hardcovers, it’s not a problem getting stuff when the item is available on back order / still order-able through our distributor – still I always recommend to all my customers to check with me via facebook or by calling the store to place an order.

If you love your comics and you love your local comic shop – start a subscription OR pre-order before FINAL ORDER CUT OFF!
