After a 16-year hiatus, Martin Lawrence and Will Smith return to the streets of Miami in the brand new film Bad Boys for Life, which is released next year. The first trailer for the long awaited third installment of their action packed franchise has dropped bringing the same level of energy, laughs, and a lot more action.
Director Michael Bay has not returned, but the relationship between Mike Lowrey (Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Lawrence) has not changed in this trailer. Mike is still in the midst of the action, while Marcus is ready to hang up his gun and badge for good. Before he can officially walk away though, there’s “one last job” they have to do together. A mysterious revenge-seeking bad guy is hunting them, which leads to many wild action packed scenarios.
Also returning is Captain Howard (Joe Pantoliano), plus there are a few fresh faces, including Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, and Charles Melton.
Bad Boys for Life, directed by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, is due out January 17, 2020.
