I gave up on Terminator sequels years ago, man. Sure, I’ll see ’em to review ’em because that’s my job, but everything after Judgement Day has been a goddamn mess. They have failed to reboot this franchise three times – four if you if you count the Sarah Connor Chronicles TV series, which gentleman adventurer Dave O’Connell dives into here.  I didn’t even bother to look at the new trailer for Dark Fate until, oh, ten minutes ago? Well, that may have been a mistake, brothers and sisters, because regardless of the final film’s quality, this new piece of marketing material is absolute F.I.R.E. Check it out…

…nnf.

So, for those who came in late:

“Linda Hamilton (“Sarah Connor”) and Arnold Schwarzenegger (“T-800”) return in their iconic roles in Terminator: Dark Fate, directed by Tim Miller (Deadpool) and produced by visionary filmmaker James Cameron and David Ellison. Following the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Terminator: Dark Fate also stars Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna, and Diego Boneta.”

Look, I just wanna know the political subtext of putting the evil Terminator in a Border Patrol uniform. That’s not accidental.

Terminator: Dark Fate will be in Australian cinemas in October, and I will be there, Ya got me again, Cameron. Ya got me again.
