October 20, folks – that’s the US release date of this sequel/re-imagining of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ seminal Watchmen. Alan’s probably none too pleased about it, but we’ll cop to being intrigued by how showrunner Damon Lindelof (Lost, Prometheus) plans to expand upon (or possibly ignore – lord knows Zack Snyder did) the themes and history of the groundbreaking “realistic supers” book. and lo and behold, here’s a new clip teasing us with exactly that, plus a whole heap of tantalising images.
